Hours of Operation:
08:00am until 18:00pm 7 days. Only pre-booked transport is available outside of these hours but extra charges may be incurred.
Booking Conditions:
To secure a booking we require payment in full if the booking is within 14 days. For bookings more than 14 days in advance a 25% non-refundable deposit is required with the balance to be paid 14 days prior to the date of transport. Details on how to pay for your transport is provided on the confirmation invoice which is emailed to you.
Waiheke Shuttles Quotations:
Where a quotation for transport has been provided the quotation remains valid for a period of 30 days only. Confirmation of the quotation is required within this period and Waiheke Shuttles will not be bound to the quoted rates after this period.
Cancellation Policy:
If transport is cancelled, the deposit paid is non-refundable.
If transport is cancelled after full payment has been made and prior to 14 days before the date of transport, 75% will be refunded.
If transport is cancelled after full payment has been made and between 14 days and 48 hours before the date of transport, 50% will be refunded.
If transport is cancelled after full payment has been made and 48 hours or less before the date of transport, there is no refund.
Transport Conditions:
Waiheke Shuttles cannot guarantee that changes will be able to be made to existing bookings within 48 hours from the date of travel and the customer will still be responsible for payment of bookings made where such changes are unable to be made. Waiheke Shuttles has no responsibility for delays due to ferry timetable and capacity issues however we will take all available measures to cover pre-booked travel when groups have been delayed due to these issues. If the number of people who have turned up for a booking is lower than in the booking confirmation and no prior notification has been given with in a 48 hour period, payment for the full number in the booking is still required. There is NO REFUND for passengers who fail to arrive at their designated pickup point at the arranged time and failed to notify us.
Alcohol Consumption:
Under NZ Transport Association regulations it is illegal to allow the consumption of alcohol on our vans and buses and there are severe penalties for non-compliance. Waiheke Shuttles drivers are under instructions not to allow alcohol to be taken onto the shuttles. They are also under instructions not to carry intoxicated or disorderly groups or individuals and there may be occasions where drivers will refuse access to our vehicles by such groups or individuals. Passengers who are sick in our shuttles will be charged a cleaning fee of $250.00.
Covid-19 Conditions:
If pre-booked transport is cancelled due to a change in Covid-19 levels by government the pre-booked transport can be postponed for a period of 12 months at no extra charge. Any payment made can also be held and used for transport within a 12 month period. If cancellation of the booking is required our standard Terms and Conditions will apply.
